Back at it, maybe

Siiiigh... Never ending cycle.. Studio gets messy, I get discouraged, I get overwhelmed. If I don't have time to clean how will I ever have time to paint? Gonna try to get going again today. Feeling the creative bug!

Valentines

Gonna try start blogging again. I'm a slow writer and I don't love taking pictures but it is so fun and important to record and look back at memories. Here's this years 's Valentine's day..,

We made cookies since we had everything at home to make and package these. Amalani loves helping with anything in the kitchen!

We delivered these to friends and family near our house and I think by the end she had a pretty good idea of what Valentines are for. She got more and more excited as she got fun reactions from people who got her treats.

She was tired by the end. We made and delivered a lot!

We also went to the library downtown for some v-day books. The library in downtown SLC is the BOMB by the way. It's a beautiful inspiring building and the resources and selection are amazing. It looks like an art museum in there.

Puppets!

Had so much fun working on this with Amalani today! She is such an eager little helper! After watching an episode of Curious George where George makes a puppet show we decided puppets would keep us busy inside on this cold day. 

Amalani called gramma Petiola all by herself and asked for a really big box which was here within 15 minutes. Gramma always responds fast!

We made puppets. Also in the running were Elmo, Jesus and a fox. And mommy and daddy. Maybe tomorrow.
